The Duke and I..

Currently am reading this book by Julia Quinn. She is a very talented women. She is a graduate of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges.

Basically this book is about the life of man and woman in the 18th century in London. Simon the new Duke of Hastings has no intention of ever marrying. But the Ambitious Mamas took it as their challenge to try to marry off their daughter to this hot and handsome duke. Because they believe that reformed rakes make the best husband for their daughter.

So, to avoid all of these Ambitious Mamas, Simon proposes an attachment to Daphne Bridgerton, his friend's sister. They both need to pretend that they are interested in each other so Simon can break free from the Ambitious Mamas and Daphne will gain more attention from all the men in London society because they believe that men are always more interested in a woman if they think other men are interested. :)

But there's just one problem, Daphne is starting to fall in love with Simon who has no intention of getting married with her...

See, it gets interesting. I still haven't finish reading yet. So I don't know the ending. But I'm falling in love with this book. It is fun, romantic and smart. I really love reading things that involved the monarchism of England. :)

Take care peeps!
